The painting frenzy has started...

Yesterday we started the huge task of painting our home to be a little more "ours". The brown walls everywhere are killing us so we made a trip to Lowe's and Home Depot and found a whole world of possibilities and narrowed it down for some rooms...
First was Sydney's room. We had to paint the ceiling white because pink and green just doesn't mix well with brown!!!
Casey played in her room but she got in on the painting action a little too!!!
Then came the pink paint!!! After two coats on opposing walls it was evident that we were definitely solidifying Sydney's title of Princess...
And we finished off the room by painting the other two walls green. We also switched her bed and her dresser around and it made the whole room seem bigger. Here is the finished product...
Thank goodness for the neighbors who took Sydney for the entire day so we could accomplish this and they also took us out to a great dinner afterward!! Thanks Braun family!!!Keep checking back because as we paint more I will post pictures!!!

Looks AWESOME!!! and see, it wasn't too bad and not it's DONE! :) You are very welcome, it was nice having Sydney here to occupy Adelaide. and dinner was yummy!!!

The room looks great, Sydney is getting so big and Casey's head is huge! The white dot makes her look like Gandi. We love you guys a lot.

Hahahaha daddy!! Wish you both were here so mom could keep me company while you and Daniel paint the rest of the house!!!
