Yup that's right the Cobb family has been invaded with swine flu. It all started Friday night with Casey running a fever, I felt horrible Saturday but better Sunday, and Sunday Daniel and Sydney started on their swine flu journey.

Yesterday after fighting fever and all other flu symptoms we made our trip to the Dr. At this point they do not test for swine flu unless you are extremely sick and require further medical intervention but all symptoms do point to swine flu. Both kids are still running a fever of 102 that will drop to out 99/100 with meds. I would say I am the closest to 100%. All I have left is an upset stomach and a pretty rough cough, Daniel is still feeling pretty bad though.

We are staying on lockdown in the house and are hoping everything returns to normal very quickly!

Then a few months later we had to move onto the toddler bed

This past week we made ANOTHER change!  Casey is now a proud owner of a real "Big Girl" bed.  The toddler bed just wasn't big enough anymore and we were tired of checking on her and half her body hanging off the edge.   So a little rearranging happened and this is what she got...

So Happy! 

Sydney was assigned her VERY first project for school this past week.  It was to complete a Family Tree with input and help from the entire family in whatever way we wanted using the tree template Mrs. Busch sent home!

After talking about it Sydney we had some great ideas and we went to work this afternoon - here is what we came up with...

Sydney wrote almost all the "nametags" (except for the ones with a lot to write!)

She wanted grass, flowers and a squirrel so she got them...

Very proud of Sydney - she was so focused on doing a great job and it shows!

I had fun doing this with her and look forward to more activities this year!

 

College football season has arrived!!  This is a VERY important part of the Cobb life in the fall!!
