Daddy and Sydney had some Father/Daughter time yesterday.  I love when they get some alone time together - there is nothing more special to a little girl than her daddy.

 Daniel thought it would be fun to take Sydney bowling for the first time.  So off they went...

Sydney really enjoyed it and didn't to bad at all - she did have the rails up for a little added help.  Daniel said the best part was when Sydney stepped past the line and fell on her little butt. I wish I would have been there to laugh with her and Daniel!!

Wow - can it be true my baby is really 22 months old already???  I think that I'm in denial and at times wish I could wrap her in a blankie and cuddle her to sleep like I did not so long ago.  Here is a little update on the constant changes from our sweet Casey Morgan...

*Her vocabulary has grown leaps and bounds in the last few weeks - My favorite is "Wuv woo"

* Her hair is long enough for very curly little pigtails!!  YAY!!!

*She loves playing baby dolls - she likes to change their diapers and give them bottles

*Anything Sydney does Casey wants to do

*Sleeps in a toddler bed 

*Eats anything you give her but her favorites are avocado, corn, Hot Dogs, mandarin oranges, Yogurt raisins, grapes, cheese - okay everything. 

* Loves to color and be crafty

*LOVES DANCING - we can already see that music is something she LOVES!!!

*Likes talking on the phone

*Loves perfume and makeup - My little Diva!

*Has a temper but doesn't use it very often

* Loves making animal noises - and we love watching her

*Has used the potty once but has since realized she likes sitting on it a whole lot

*Her hugs and kisses are enough to make you forget everything else.

*Has a love of shoes 

*She has a mean streak when she is hungry or tired - just like mom!!!

*She smiles on demand (see above picture)

*She is more daring than I have the stomach for

*Still madly in love with her pacifier - uugghhh!

*Most importantly - Casey is a kind and loving child that brings Joy into our home and smiles to our faces!!!

Today upon arriving home the girls found Addie outside coloring the sidewalk - and a little bit of herself - with some chalk.  Sydney couldn't resist the urge to get chalk on every bit of exposed skin and jumped right in.  Casey a little apprehensive at first soon followed.  Needless to say it was straight into the bathroom for baths after this...

Sooo hard to believe it is February 14th.  Quite frankly without out the stores jam packed with red, pink and purple "Love" stuff I wouldn't believe it.  

This morning Sydney and I made some Valentine Cookies to take to daddy at the Fire Department later and also some to give to  Adeliade.

I thought it was adorable when I walked around the counter and saw this...

I never thought my girls would be sooo close so early into their life.  They are true best friends and I can only pray it stays that way far into the future!!!

Sydney recently showed Casey how to escape from her crib - What are big sister's for huh??? 

After I removed the bumper pad it seemed to stop and I even thought she might have forgotten about it until last night.  Casey woke me up every 30 minutes or so by getting up on the side of my bed and saying, "MOOMMMYY!"  So after an exhausting evening we decided that it was best to put her into her toddler bed to avoid a potential injury for our little Houdini .  

We weren't sure how she would do but at bed time she was ready for her big girl bed that we had hyped up all afternoon.  She crawled right into bed and even told Sydney "OUT".  We turned out the light and she was sleeping in minutes!!  

Stop growing up so quickly sweet baby!!!
