Having lived in Texas more in my life then anywhere else (1994-1997 and 2002-now) it still amazes me that we have NEVER taken advantage of the Texas coast before.  We now know we will be yearly vacationers in South Padre Island! 

This morning we loaded up both Vehicles and hit the road for a nice 5 hour drive to SPI!

Today my first born turns 6!  WOW!

I don't really remember life before Sydney and to be honest don't feel like my life truly started until she entered my life. 

Sydney you make my heart smile and constantly amaze me with your beauty and intelligence.  

What the future holds is yet to be revealed but I know that you will succeed in whatever it is!!

This year we gave Sydney the choice to have a birthday party or to go to Sea World for her 6th Birthday.  I was SO excited when she picked Sea World - I knew that she would love it and it didn't disappoint!

A very full day! I think we fit in everything we possibly could and the kids had a great time.  Next time I think we might have to ride more rides (Peyton's favorite part)!!!

This spring we joined the YMCA - for multiple reasons but one of the main one was the splash park!  We knew the kids would love it and were SO excited when it FINALLY opened yesterday.  So after spin class this morning we loaded the kids up with sunscreen and then headed over to the Y for a little fun!!

Around here you get the sprinkler set up for them to run through with the hope that it exhausts them so they fall into a DEEP sleep until the next morning. HAHA!  (Never works...)

Unbelievably the day has come where my first born has successfully and with tons of knowledge and pride graduates Kindergarten.  It feels like she just started kinder yesterday and already she is done and moving onto the FIRST GRADE.

Sydney amazes me with what she accomplished this year and I know that her excitement for learning was sparked this year and will continue for the rest of her academic career.  She received awards for academic achievement in reading (takes after me here) and math (definitely takes after her daddy here!!).  

We are so very proud of Sydney today (and everyday) and look forward to many more years of success from our wonderful little girl!!

Today while Daniel was home I snuck away for some mommy time and upon my return I found out that the girls had been quite a handful and to maintain his sanity he separated the kids for a little "calm down time" (or what I like to call "If this doesn't stop my head will explode" time!)  

I see Casey immediately on the couch passed out but no Sydney in sight.  Daniel points to the stairs and this is what I see...

Right when school started last August Sydney lost her bottom two teeth but nothing else... Until this week!!

She lost her top two teeth and another bottom tooth.  Good thing the top ones fell out because her adult teeth are ALREADY showing!!  The tooth fairy is broke!!

I can't believe in the last year how she has turned from a baby (in my opinion) to loosing teeth, reading, writing amazingly well and asking about bra's and boyfriends - UUGGGHHH!!!

Mother's Day is one of my favorite days.  

Although I try very hard to make sure my mother knows how much she means to me every time I talk to her it gives me another chance to tell her that she is the BEST mother and grandmother I could have ever asked for.  Mom you are my BEST friend and I absolutely adore you!!  If I can be a quarter of the mother you are then my kids are so lucky!! 

Today my babies made me a ton of little goodies - my favorite thing to get from them. (Sorry I forgot pictures but they are all adorable and will be stored away for me to take out in future years when they torture me to tears so I can remember that they were once very SWEET little girls.)  Then Daddy and the girls bought me some of my favorite perfume, Vera Wang.  They took me out to a wonderful lunch at La Hacienda De Los Barrios.  It was such a great day and I wouldn't have had it any other way!

Thanks to my Amazing Husband and Wonderful Girls for showing me how much I am really appreciated...You are my world!!!

I HATE THIS STUFF!!!!!

But of course the girls LOVE it and when we got home from the YMCA the other day I wanted them to be occupied for awhile while I cleaned the kitchen.  Wishful thinking right?  That is until I remembered the magic play dough!!

Yes I have one and in January I decided to become a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! so I could share my creative side with others.

Since January I have built up a nice little customer base and they really enjoy seeing my creations (all of them) so I started a CREATIVE blog a few weeks ago.  I wanted to wait a couple of weeks until I got some posts on there to share the address.  Even if you aren't into stamping/scrapbooking you might enjoy looking at it from time to time...
