County Fair...

Yes it is that time of year again and last night Daniel and I thought it was time to show Sydney and Casey what fairs were all about. We took the girls to the Comal County Fair and had a really good time.
The girls got a cartoon drawing done and it turned out amazing...
Casey wasn't so sure about sitting in front of some strange man but she did it...
We couldn't believe how well he captured both girls!!!!
Then we let Sydney ride some rides - Her favorite was riding the Shetland Pony which Daniel and I thought she would freak out about since she is so timid but she was a regular little Cowgirl...
Poor Casey wasn't tall enough to ride anything by herself but she was such a good sport and just loved looking on and waving at her big sister...
Of course had to partake in some Carnival Food. You name it they had it (even Pork Chops on a stick - Who would eat that?) We were happy with a few little things - Daniel had a taco, Casey and I shared some Corn on the Cobb and Sydney's heart was set on a funnel cake that we all picked off. Explain to me why food at a carnival is so good?
With full bellies we decided it was time for the Livestock area - this is usually not my favorite thing! I hate the smell and it is always so dirty...but I stepped up tonight and we went in without a complaint from me - you know for the kids!!! There was a petting zoo that Sydney enjoyed a lot - except for the calf that thought she tasted really good and tried his hardest to wrap his tongue around her arm.
YES there was a lot of hand sanitizer used after this... Come on you know me!!!
We had a great time - the kids were great and not one bit of whining. Sydney is already talking about going back next year and what rides Casey gets to ride with her!!!

tiner you look soooo good I cannot wait to see you sooon we will play ALARM CLOCK for old times sake so don't even think I willforget. I suck at typing, in high school I could type about 55 words a min.
